Computer Clubhouse: Create A Personal Logo

Now you’re ready to work on your logo. Start by using Photoshop’s layers to create your design.

First, add a new layer by clicking on the <Create a New Layer> button in the Layers Palette.

The new layer is added on
top of your background in
the Layers Palette window
and labeled “Layer 1.”

Next, use the tools in the Toolbox to create a shape in your new layer.

>	Click on the Rectangular Marquee icon in the Toolbox to select it.
>	Then click once in the Active Image window and drag to create a rectangular shape.
